FAIB emergency paediatric first aid course is 1 day of hands on, face to face training with our professional trainer.

- CPR for babies and children
- Recovery position for children and infants
- Choking management for babies and children
- Recognising and managing seizures, shock, and breathing difficulties

Who is the course suitable for?
This course is suitable for those within Early Years who are working as part of a team with other staff who hold a Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate. Under the Ofsted guidelines a nursery is required to carry out a risk assessment and ensure that an adequate number of staff are First Aid trained.
This does not replace the full Paediatric First Aid Training (12 hours) This course is designed as a top up to refresh skills

By the end of the FAIB Emergency Paediatric First Aid course, you will be able to:

- Perform CPR on babies and children
- Place an unresponsive child or infant in the recovery position
