COURSE CONTENT:

  • Recognising possible signs and symptoms of a person displaying mental ill-health.
  • Discussion and understanding of the stigmas surrounding Mental Health.
  • Using a Mental Health Action Plan to help people in crisis or need.
  • Assistance in seeking external professional help or guidance.
  • The legalities regarding Mental Health and the workplace.
  • Best practice for the workplace; for example, when helping someone to stay at work, or return to work.

This course is ideally suitable for anyone who has Line Manager responsibility or wants to increase their awareness of Mental Health and how to support and manage it in the workplace.
