At Puzzled Training, we’ve always believed that face-to-face training is the gold standard when it comes to first aid. Nothing replaces practising life-saving skills under the guidance of an experienced trainer, asking questions, and building the confidence to act in a real emergency.
That said, we’ve seen the real benefits of blended learning.
For experienced first aiders who have completed their training several times before, blended learning offers the perfect balance. The theory can be completed online, at your own pace, whether that’s at home or in the office, before attending a face-to-face practical session where you’ll refresh and practise the skills that matter most.
For those new to first aid, however, we believe traditional classroom training remains the best option. The interaction with your trainer and fellow learners, together with the extra time spent practising practical skills such as CPR, using an AED and helping a choking casualty, builds confidence. And when it comes to first aid, confidence can make all the difference.
Blended learning isn’t about replacing practical training it’s about combining the flexibility of online learning with the essential hands-on experience that first aid requires.
If you’re unsure which option is right for you or your organisation, our friendly team is always happy to help. Whether you’re booking one place or training for a group of up to 48 learners, we’ll help you find the course that’s the best fit for your needs.
